Who’s Who


Matthew Fisher– Executive Director: Received his BA in Economics from Carleton College in Minnesota with a concentration in Environmental and Technology Studies.  While in college he performed with the Semaphore Repertory Dance Company under Mary Easter.  He is also an alumnus of the Ailey School where he was awarded the Stanley Pleasant and Oprah Winfrey Fellowships in 2003 and 2004 respectively. Mr. Fisher performed professionally with Genesis Dance Company, The Connecticut Ballet, Amy Marshall Dance Company; and most notably was a principal dancer for Elisa Monte Dance from 2005 to 2008.  After retiring from professional dance in 2008, he took a position at DiJiFi, a photo digitization company based in Brooklyn, where he is now a part owner and general manager.  In 2012 he enrolled in the Langone Part-Time Program at NYU’s Stern School of Business to pursue a Masters of Business Administration.

Tiffany Rea-Fisher– Artistic Director: Received her BFA from the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase. While at Purchase she became a member of the Strategic Plan 2004-2009 Committee, and co-founded the ForArts organization, which was the school’s first interdisciplinary presenting organization. Mrs. Rea-Fisher joined Elisa Monte Dance in 2004 where she performed as principal dancer until 2010. In 2005 Mrs. Rea-Fisher created, directed, and curated Dance at the Tank at the interdisciplinary arts organization The Tank. During that time she was introduced to Doc, an arts radio personality who would frequent Dance at the Tank shows. She appeared on “Doc Radio” as a guest on and off for a couple months being offered the opportunity to create a regular “Tea with Tiff” show focused on the position of performing arts in today’s digital age. In 2006 Mrs. Rea-Fisher became the Director of Education for Elisa Monte Dance. Mrs. Rea-Fisher was named Dance Magazine’s “On the Rise” performer in their August 2007 edition as a talented young dancer with the potential to leave her mark on the world of dance.  She has since been named as the Associate Artistic Director & Director of Operations of Elisa Monte Dance. In 2012 she joined the faculty of the Joffrey School of Ballet and feels confident that her diverse experiences will help make Inception to Exhibition a success.
